Nubank is the leading financial technology company in Latin America. Its first product, launched in 2014, is a no-fee credit card that is fully managed by a mobile app. Almost 30 million people have requested the product since launch, and the company has passed the 10 million customer mark. Our Business Analyst Team

In order to sustain Nubank's success, we are searching for outstanding individuals who are looking to apply their strategic and analytical skills to help us solve major company challenges.

Typical responsibilities assigned to you might include:

  • Identifying business challenges and opportunities and use analytical tools to solve them
    Ex.: Identifying key reasons that drive customer conversion and how to improve it
  • Building models/analysis to evaluate new product lines or new market segments
    Ex.: Designing our product characteristics
  • Dimensioning and supporting marketing efforts for products
    Ex.: Deciding when and how much to invest in marketing campaigns as well as which audience to target how
  • Generating insights and ideas to improve customer experience and our technology
    Ex.: Improving our fraud-detection models to better protect our customers
  • Creating risk models and hypothesis to predict future performance of our customers, helping the company make growth decisions
  • Managing the execution of your proposals, from operational feasibility to monitoring results
    Ex.: Launching a customer survey and acting on the results
  • Partnering with our engineers, data scientists and designers to coordinate and prioritize tasks involving your analysis
    Ex.: Testing different communication templates and tracking the effectiveness of each one

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as: Business, Engineering, Math, Economics
  • 3 to 6 years of work experience - we're looking for senior individual contributers to join our team
  • Programming is not required but candidates need to display interest in learning basic data analysis skills (Python, R …)
  • Knowledge of English

Backgrounds that fit into either of these profiles are an asset:

  • Financial
    Understanding of financial concepts and financial statements
    Past experience in banking, or in consulting for finance-related projects
  • Operational
    Familiarity with business processes: identifying key drivers, optimizing operations and monitoring results
    Past experience in business development or operations
  • Decision Sciences
    Experience with statistical modeling/data sciences applied to business decisions
    Past academic or data-intensive positions
  • Strategic & analytic orientation
    Proven track record on combining conceptual thinking & quantitative skills
    Past experience in consulting firms or similar roles
