Figma is looking for a Manager of Mid-Market Account Management to join our dynamic team of creatives, engineers, marketing wizards, and brilliant business folks. You aren’t the typical sales leader, and we aren’t the typical design tool company. At Figma we think outside the box, lift constraints that block our imagination everyday and we expect you to do the same. With this role you’ll get in at the ground floor in a fast-growing sales organization. You’ll lead a team that drives meaningful relationships with our existing customer base in a way that adds value to their experience and revenue to our bottom line.

Figma is growing and moving fast. Our next team member will have an agile, dynamic mindset, be comfortable embracing change, a true team-player, and love working with our growing footprint of customers. You won’t be alone! Figma has an incredible team and you’ll work closely with other groups including Support, Solutions Architects, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Enablement. Your team of Mid-Market Account Managers will be responsible for the engagement, expansion, and retention of our rapidly growing customer base. You will report to the Director of Account Management.

What you’ll do at Figma:
  • Be accountable for the engagement, expansion, and retention of our fast-growing customer base in the mid-market segment (companies of <2,000 employees)
  • Interview, hire, and train new team members as we scale the organization
  • Lead a team of motivated and diverse individuals to foster an environment of success
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to your team based on our sales methodology while also guiding their career development
  • Participate in customer meetings and workshops while also sharing the voice of the customer with our product, design, and engineering teams
  • Help shape and further develop Account Management processes and strategic initiatives - especially those aligned with operating at scale as your team will each have books of 150+ accounts
  • Test and refine growth and acquisition strategies through data, segment-specific value drivers, and compelling stories
  • Develop strong internal partnerships and collaborate cross-functionally to increase revenue opportunities

We'd love to hear from you if:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales (preferably SaaS)
  • 2+ years in management (preferably Account Managers or Account Executives)
  • Strong experience building and leading successful, collaborative, and hard-working sales teams
  • Consistent track record of success exceeding expansion revenue targets
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving and growing environment
  • Understanding of our technical and competitive landscape

About Figma

Dylan Field and Evan Wallace co-founded Figma in 2012 with the vision of building tools for designers in the browser. Their goal was to create the first design tool that combined the accessibility of the Web with the functionality of a native app. Today Figma is a platform with tools and spaces to support the entire product development process—idea to design to build—and has simplified collaboration for companies like Microsoft, Uber, and The New York Times to name a few.

At Figma, we celebrate and support our differences. We know employing a team rich in diverse backgrounds, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, products, and community to flourish. Figma is an equal opportunity workplace—we are dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national orientation, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements.

By applying for this job, the candidate acknowledges and agrees that any personal data contained in their application or supporting materials will be processed in accordance with the applicable candidate section of Figma's Privacy Policy

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor required by law to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We are also required to measure our progress toward having at least 7% of our workforce be individuals with disabilities. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had a disability. Because a person may become disabled at any time, we ask all of our employees to update their information at least every five years.

Identifying yourself as an individual with a disability is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions. Completing the form will not negatively impact you in any way, regardless of whether you have self-identified in the past. For more information about this form or the equal employment obligations of federal contractors under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
