About the Role

We’re looking for a strong fleet specialist to carry out daily deployment, and troubleshooting logistical needs for our Robotic Field Operations team. In this role you’ll report into the Fleet Manager and be a core member of our Robotic Fleet Team. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Loading and unloading daily for our PM field operations team 2:00pm - 10:30pm, ensuring maximum uptime and deployment.  
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, such as hardware, product, and business operations teams, to enhance the product.
  • Perform daily and monthly maintenance that implement proactive maintenance strategies to prevent downtime and extend the life of our robots.
  • Monitor fleet performance metrics and use data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support other duties as assigned.

We’re excited about you because…

  • 1 years of experience or strong interest in live Autonomy Operations for public road deployment.
  • Driver license required, able to support multiple locations in California or the Arizona area.
  • Comfortable lifting 50 lb properly, bending over, or twisting.
  • Experience with managing a fleet of any sorts or with deploying live field operations, bonus if related to autonomous vehicles.   
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, comfortable with following schedules and some evening and weekend work
  • Familiarity with jira ticketing systems to collect feedback, schedule fixes, and track progress.
  • Mechanical or Hardware experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, CLI tools and scripting preferred, but not required.

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
