About the Role
As a Designer for the Growth Marketing team at DoorDash, you will play a pivotal role in driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention through impactful design strategies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, data analytics, and engineering, to create engaging, conversion-driven campaigns that amplify the DoorDash brand. You’ll leverage your expertise in visual design, user experience, and performance marketing to craft compelling visuals that align with brand goals and drive measurable growth.
Please note we are also hiring a Senior Designer for this team.

- Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to design and develop performance-driven campaigns across multiple channels (email, display, social media, paid search, in-app, etc.).
- Design for A/B testing environments to optimize creative assets for maximum engagement and conversion rates.
- Develop scalable design systems and templates for various growth initiatives to ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
- Create visually compelling assets that align with the DoorDash brand identity while tailoring designs for specific audience segments and growth goals.
- Translate data insights and user feedback into actionable design strategies to enhance user engagement.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and brand teams to ensure design cohesiveness across campaigns and channels.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best practices in growth marketing and design.
We're excited about you because...
- 4+ years of experience in visual design, digital marketing design, or similar roles, with a focus on growth marketing and user acquisition.
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Possesses strong expertise in creating illustrations that unleash creative narratives, bringing concepts to life with impactful illustrations.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding with a portfolio showcasing performance-based design work.
- Experience working with performance marketing teams, including designing for A/B tests and data-driven creative development.
- Solid understanding of information hierarchy and customer journey mapping in the context of marketing campaigns.
- Ability to balance creative vision with performance data to produce high-converting designs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience with motion design, 3D and/or video editing is a plus.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
