About the Team
This role sits within the Internal Communications team. The Internal Communications team focuses on reaching and connecting with one of DoorDash’s most important audiences: our employees. The team is responsible for leading employee communications centered around our global strategy, business goals, and financial results to ensure employees understand DoorDash’s near and long-term vision. The team is a nimble, high-impact group that works cross-functionally with key business stakeholders, touching every corner of the organization. Your role on this team will be to manage the day-to-day operations of DoorDash and Wolt’s suite of digital communications channels, and cultivate a community of cross-functional business partners to develop a thriving global editorial network.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Director of Internal Communications, the Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our owned internal digital communication channels and cultivating a global editorial community. This role will involve partnering closely with internal teams to leverage these tools to increase the visibility of important company news, support company strategy, and improve the employee experience. The Internal Communications Manager will develop and implement standards and processes while also leading the establishment of key performance indicators to drive channel effectiveness.
This role is open to any east coast location but required to sit in this time zone.

- Shape our digital workplace: You'll be instrumental in transforming our intranet into a vibrant and engaging hub for employees. Serving as the intranet’s primary admin, you’ll ensure the intranet becomes an active digital workplace, reliable content management system, and strategic business tool.
- Drive employee engagement: Your content will play a key role in connecting employees, fostering a sense of community, and boosting morale. You’ll manage editorial planning and content design.
- Be a strategic partner: You'll collaborate closely with teams across the organization to ensure our communications align with company goals.
- Stay ahead of the curve: You'll explore and implement innovative digital communication strategies and tools. You’ll be the primary vendor point of contact who monitors news releases, shares user feedback and communicates new functionality while keeping up with intranet and content trends to provide recommendations and test new approaches to maximize outcomes.
- Build a global community: You'll connect and manage a network of global content creators, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. You’ll promote user adoption through user and admin training and consultation.
We’re excited about you because…
- You're a digital communications expert: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field and at least 8 years of proven experience working with internal communications tools including intranets, and other web-based technologies and workplace communication platforms. This includes the launch, management and governance of at least 1-2 intranet projects, ideally at a technology company.
- You're a skilled content creator: Your strong writing skills and ability to produce engaging and informative content will captivate our employees.
- You're a community builder: Your strong interpersonal skills and collaborative nature will foster engagement and a sense of community among our content creators.
- You're results-oriented: Your sound working knowledge of internal communications related software coupled with your focus on user adoption and measurement will ensure our digital channels deliver quantifiable value. Your strong knowledge of measurement and analytics will help us demonstrate the effectiveness of the intranet, track success, and identify improvements to the user experience.
- You're a strategic thinker: Your ability to understand our business goals and develop effective communication strategies will be a great asset.
- You're a leader: You have demonstrated your people and project management skills with 3-5 years experience managing complex cross-functional project(s) which involved multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
