About the Team

DoorDash is seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead our Address Experience team, part of the Delivery Excellence pillar. Our pillar’s vision is to ensure 100% of DoorDash orders are delivered with the highest quality. The Address Experience team supports this vision by making it easy and seamless for customers to specify where and how they want to receive their orders. This ensures each customer gets their delivery in the correct location, and every dasher picks up and drops off orders precisely as expected, every time. The team focuses on two key metrics: Conversion and Never Delivered (ND) rates. By improving and expanding how customers enter and visualize their addresses, the team enhances the experience for all consumers. This includes supporting various address types (e.g., multi-unit buildings, hotels, hospitals) and capturing additional information such as parking details or security codes to help ensure successful deliveries. The Address Experience team develops consumer-focused products and provides UI components and solutions for address management that are leveraged across DoorDash.
