About the Team

Our mission for Inside Pre-Sales is to promote growth in local economies by building connections with businesses across the nation and promoting the DoorDash platform. Your team will be the first line of communication to SMB restaurants to learn their needs so we may share how DoorDash can help them build their business through incremental sales, products or services.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to oversee our Inside Core team that focuses on bringing on the best local and regional small and mid-size merchants onto DoorDash. As the Senior Manager, you will have oversight over the performance, development, and guidance of the team pursuing growth and partnership goals. In this role, you will lead front-line managers and focus on developing their coaching and leadership skills to drive team performance and meet company objectives. You will collaborate with senior leadership across Pre-Sales while developing strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including Sales Ops, Sales Planning, Finance, and other organizations within DoorDash. 

You will report to the Director of Pre Sales Core, where you’ll have direct access to grow your career to the next level. We expect this role to be flexible, with time spent remote/in-field/in-office and the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through training, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessities.

  • Lead the vision and decisions for the Inside Pre-Sales Core team and contribute to the overarching vision of the Pre-Sales organization.
  • Own the relationship with other Senior Managers and Directors within and peripheral to your team and effectively lead the vision of the company
  • Build and create the ecosystem around cross-functional team building
  • Manage an organization or a sizable team with the responsibility of ensuring its effectiveness and continued growth
  • Drive the sales conversion with the highest value Rx Mx 
  • Execute against priority initiatives for senior leadership

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have minimum of 2+ years in Inside Sales (previous experience or within DoorDash)
  • You have 4+ years of experience leading teams that exceed goals
  • You have 7+ years experience in sales - full-cycle, transactional sales cycles
  • You have strong management skills including leading OKRs, planning & forecasting, hiring, and driving process enhancements
  • You have experience working with cross functional teams to create and size sales initiatives that impact sales organization performance at scale
  • You can navigate sales management tools (e.g. SFDC, Outreach and Chorus) while providing support analysis and reporting to guide decisions and team improvement
  • You have at least 1+ years of being a second-line leader (i.e. managing leaders) is a plus
