As an Account Executive you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

What you will do:

  1. Invoice Processing: Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely processing for payment.
  2. Vendor Management: Maintain vendor accounts, including setting up new vendors, updating vendor information, and reconciling vendor statements. Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues and discrepancies.
  3. Payment Processing: Process payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer, ensuring adherence to payment terms and deadlines. Prepare and review payment batches for approval by management.
  4. Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Reconcile corporate credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  5. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries.
  6. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable processes. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports for management review.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in the accounts payable function. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in TDS & GST knowledge.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or finance role, with knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage large volumes of transactions effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
