The Team

The UK & Ireland is Deliveroo's most mature market globally. Functions include commercial, operations and marketing, and teams in the UK&I partner with global departments such as Product, Technology, Consumer and Restaurants.

The UK&I Regional team drives Deliveroo's performance across all five nations. From Brighton to Bangor, Bolton to Belfast, we are experts in the local markets we serve. In the Regional team we oversee all three sides of our marketplace: restaurants, consumers and riders.

As part of the UK&I Regional UKI team, you will be singing up the best restaurants in the city/region. UK&I Regional presents one of the biggest growth opportunities available to Deliveroo and we are building a diverse team of talented, commercially experienced individuals to help us fulfil our potential.  You will work within a newly created team within the Midlands.

The role

This is a great opportunity to become an important member of a growing business in a competitive market. You'll build relationships with new restaurant partners across your area, improving our proposition for customers. This role is a perfect fit for a candidate who enjoys building rapport, delivering results and outperforming in the marketplace results.

What You'll Do:

  • Map, prospect, pitch and close new partners: this means being “on the streets”, finding and signing the restaurants & stores local customers love!
  • Communicate (via in-person visits, emails, calls, and social media) with partners to demonstrate Deliveroo technology & the opportunity for their business.
  • Make yourself known in target cities as the food delivery and restaurant industry expert; building trust and facilitating inbound deal flow. 
  • Oversee the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient and seamless and support continuous improvement. 
  • Support Account Managers to ensure restaurant partner success within their first three months after/post signing.
  • Support with ‘on the ground’ marketing initiatives i.e. ‘Painting the Town Teal’ and Customer Door Drops.

  • Number of restaurants signed / activated each month v target

Required Skills

  • Confident and charismatic individual who can “sell with style”.
  • Experienced negotiator, able to structure win-win deals for both restaurant partners and Deliveroo.
  • Strong commercial skill set.
  • Able to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
  • Take ownership and work autonomously to deliver stretch  targets.
  • Passionate interest in all things food.
  • Be tenacious and highly self-motivated.
  • Full UK driving licence  and own a car.
  • You will be field based 4-5 days per week.
  • Preferable - Fluent in at least one other language: (eg: Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi etc)
