Responsibilities

Workato is searching for an experienced Global Compensation Consultant(Part-Time) to join our People Ops Team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting the design  of the Company’s Global Compensation program. This is a part-time, contractor role that will report to the Director of HR. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build out the existing compensation & equity structure.
  • Interpret and analyze data, simplify processes and scale programs.
  • Review jobs, benchmarking against data and determine compensation guidelines
  • Review and maintain Workato’s job level architecture.
  • Continuously analyze market data to assess cash, incentive and equity competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics and monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported.
  • Consult and collaborate with members of the People Ops and Leadership teams to explore problems, resolve issues and offer solutions on matters related to compensation.

Qualifications/ Experience / Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in HR, Business, Economics, Finance or related field preferred. MBA or master’s degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 7+ years of HR compensation related experience required including exposure to global compensation. 
  • Required experience with Radford surveys.
  • Experience in a fast paced, high growth SAAS/technology environment preferred.
  • HR and/or Compensation certification preferred.

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation-related laws and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of equity in a pre-IPO high tech environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information and equity systems.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel including experience building analyses and models.
  • Familiarity with Namely HRIS and Carta systems are a plus!
