Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Solutions team. This role combines expertise in front-end and back-end technologies to create seamless, user-friendly, and efficient software solutions. The Sr. Full Stack Developer works closely with the Enterprise Architect, Product Manager.  Developers, Designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of the business and end-users.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities; contribute to team meetings; and troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms

  • Exhibit excellent communications skills and engage in technical discussions with peers becoming a trusted, technical advisor

  • Brainstorm with the product managers to create an appropriate solution under the constraints

  • Collaborating with other stakeholders in defining architecture strategy

  • Design visually appealing front-end applications for the ideated concept. 

  • Define web architectures and solutions from business requirements, produce estimates and timeline, and manage delivery against those plans

  • Create a logically structured database and an efficient API.

  • Work with others to ensure adherence to code standards and best practices

  • Produce reusable, testable, and efficient code

  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

  • Implement secure by design standards including data protection

  • Integrate of data storage solutions

  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness

  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks as well as fix bugs

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • University degree or equivalent educational experience (optimally a technical or engineering degree)

  • 8+ years of relevant software development experience

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to transform design concepts into responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing web applications.

  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications, ensuring they work together seamlessly to deliver a cohesive user experience.

  • Strong proficiency and demonstrated experience in designing and developing interactive and responsive web interfaces with Anjular.js, Express.js/Nest.js

  • Design and implement server-side logic, database structures, and APIs using programming languages and frameworks (Node.js, Prisma.js, Nest.js)

  • Create and manage databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity. Proficiency with database systems like MySQL/PostgreSQL databases is required.

  • Experience optimizing and tuning code for performance and maintainability – includes utilizing asynchronous programming, offline storage, and multi- threading as well as working around system / language limitations to achieve desired performance benchmarks

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD development practices.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, even under high-pressure situations

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience

  • Fast learner who can independently conduct extensive research, and synthesize ideas, information and options quickly

  • Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge
