Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team. The Channel Sales Associate is accountable for supporting critical day to day activities in support of Workato’s growing Global Partner Ecosystem. The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record in customer service, and supporting Technology partnerships. You’ll have a successful track record of managing multiple activities with different partners delivering a quality service experience. This role works with all of the new Partners that are joining our ecosystem so the importance of a strong first impression is critical element of this role.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Be a Passionate support champion who can provide world-class service and support of our Partners

  • Execute Partner Journey experiences.  Focused on partner development, deeper involvement with Workato and grow awareness of Workato throughout the Partner.

  • Handle all initial inbound inquires on the Workato Partner Program and associated values

  • Execute on processing key partnership documents such as MNDA, Partner Reseller contracts and SDK approval contracts

  • Work closely with the larger Workato Partner organization to streamline Partner onboarding, sales plays, and enablement across our Partner Community

  • Strong history of building and driving pipeline generation at the field level with direct sales and go-to-market partner organizations

  • Strong data systems skills such as Salesforce, Docusign and other such business application tools allowing to quickly process and document support requests. 

  • Proven history of growing a service request into larger more strategic relationships leading to increased revenue as a result of providing superior and tailored service

  • Represent both the voice of the partner to Workato and the voice of Workato to the partner as required to resolve issues and attain revenue

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 1-2+ years’ experience in Business Development or Service roles

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.  

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up

  • Associate Degree or BA/BS degree, a plus

  • Expectations: As you will be supporting Global Clients, Work hours are likely to be US timezone

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • Self-sufficient, focused leader with a propensity towards execution and driving revenue results

  • Natural and effortless relationship management / partner development skills

  • Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
