We are looking for an exceptional Data Warehouse Solutions Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key member of the Business Technology organization with the focus on data architecture and business intelligence developing our enterprise data warehouse. You will be responsible for building a scalable solution for insights, reporting and in-depth analysis to guide GTM, Customer Success, Exec and product teams. Serving as the lead architect you define the architecture and drive the development of the data warehouse, infrastructure and tools, data models and governance, data pipelines, reporting and visualizations, workload management, and services and frameworks. 

This is a highly impactful and autonomous role where the insights provided will directly impact the bottom line of the business. You will work extensively with product management teams and GTM teams to translate data requirements into actionable self-service data products.The ideal candidate is a senior hands-on leader with demonstrated experience in similar capacity at fast paced growth companies. You are a critical thinker, nimble yet designing for the long-term and have the ability to influence teams to ensure that the data platform is core to the decision-making process. We take pride in our product and this role will be a Workato evangelist and demonstrate how Workato can effectively help companies with their data integration and ETL/ELT needs across a broad set of industries. 

You will also be responsible to:

  • Become intimately familiar with the business and work with key stakeholders, Business Technology product owners to define and translate to scalable technical solutions

  • Assist in prioritization and execution of the product roadmap for business analytics and develop insights for data collected from various business systems and databases. 

  • Analytical rigor and strategic thinking are a must, but you’ll need to get your hands dirty to drive real, sustainable impact.

  • Own and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata including data lineage and technical data definitions

  • Provide direction and guidance in the implementation of scalable data pipelines, transformations, analytical data marts integrating data from a variety of engineering and business systems 

  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.

  • Harmonize key policies (e.g. Data Access, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Governance) with the processes necessary to carry out those policies

  • Develop Workato’s methodology for actionable insights with automations, and evangelize both internally to CS/sales teams and externally to our customers & partners.

  • Ensure Workato is used throughout our data warehouse architecture and collaborate with our product team to make it the leading data integration platform to manage ETL/ELT workloads


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience related technical field

  • Minimum 8 years hands-on experience, and 2+ years as technical lead/architect in developing BI solutions (Data Integration, Modeling, Analytics or Reporting)

  • Deep experience in architecting cloud based data-warehouse solutions (e.g. AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery,Snowflake etc.), powering BI visualization platforms (Thoughtspot, Tableau, Looker) and exposure to business systems (e.g. Salesforce/CPQ, NetSuite, SaaSOptics, Marketo etc.)

  • Expert level SQL skills and data modeling experience is a must

  • Experience with Enterprise Data Governance, Master data management, Data Privacy and Security (GDPR, CCPA)

  • Experience with building analytic solutions in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Experience analyzing and summarizing large amounts of data from multiple systems to provide a unique insight into business operations

  • Experience partnering with go-to-market, customer success, and product teams.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization

  • Ability to cover a range of activities, from C-level presentations to hands-on, data deep-dives with analysts.

  • Ability to create a performance- and metrics-focused culture.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize and visualize complex analyses that tell a compelling story.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
