Position Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Customer Success (Onboarding Project Manager) to join our growing team. In this role, you will coordinate onboarding for our customers.  You will work closely with our highly technical and very effective team of Automation Consultants to provide best in class onboarding.  With our cloud platform, you will be responsible for helping our clients empower their employees, serve their customers, and build solutions for their businesses. You will project manage and provide oversight, escalation and a connection to the product team.  We are focused on leaving no customer behind and in this role you will be responsible for driving the success of an assigned set of customer onboardings in a timely and productive manner. 

Responsibilities

This is a remote role, candidates based anywhere in North America are welcome to apply! In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Work closely with Automation Consultants, Product, Engineering, and Sales to guarantee that all teams are aligned when onboarding new clients

  • Ensure customer communications is done timely and thoroughly to drive speed to value

  • Handle escalations with customers and internally

  • Build a post go live plan that allows customers to continue to the next high ROI project; expanding value for our customers and building the Workato business

  • Leave no customer behind

  • Effectively manage multiple projects while providing outstanding customer service

  • Own deliverables that help customers build an execution plan staff/partner relationships to accomplish their goals

  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service experience to Workato customers

Requirements

Technical Experience

  • Project management experience; 3-5 years of client-facing project management 

  • 3+ years managing SaaS implementations / systems and preferable with integrations

  • Background in consulting, information systems project deployment

  • Knowledge of Implementing Integration project 

  • Sound knowledge of any RDBMS

  • Experience working with cloud business apps like Workday / NetSuite / Salesforce / Servicenow / Marketo is a plus

  • Technical background or a good understanding of technology and industry trends, especially in the app integration space a plus

  • Experience working with Integration Platform such as TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Mule Soft etc. a plus

  • Working knowledge with APIs - RESTful a plus

  • Sound knowledge of Data Structure - JSON a plus

  • 1-2 years of coding experience (Java/Python) a plus

  • Knowledge of SOAP/XML is a plus

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, even under high-pressure situations

  • Highly organized, able to manage many projects concurrently

  • Issue management and resolution focused

  • Escalation management internally and with customers

  • Willingness to drive things and keep projects moving

  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic start-up environment with a passion for making an impact; we want company builders

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience

  • Fast learner who can independently conduct extensive research, and synthesize ideas, information and options quickly

  • Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge
