We are looking for an exceptional Events and Community Manager  to join our growing team. Taking charge of the calendar of events for the region, you’ll have the unique opportunity to play a key role in our APJ Marketing and Growth team. In this role, you will plan, market, and execute events that help to build brand awareness, grow market influence, and acquire brand ambassadors along the way. At the same time, you will also manage and drive the growth of our user and non-user communities through creative engagement strategies.

  • Drive events and community initiatives for Workato in the APJ region.

  • Manage and grow a team of Event & Community Associates to accelerate GTM campaign efforts for Workato, and fuel our growth and new customer acquisition.

  • Build effective online and offline engagements to drive Workato’s regional presence.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Design, Sales, Customer Success) within the business to plan and coordinate events, ensuring event messaging, demos, deliverables are executed according to strategy.

  • Build relationships with event vendors and manage projects end-to-end to ensure all pre and post event tasks are promptly completed.

  • Develop creative and effective messaging for event invitation, landing pages and marketing collaterals to drive registrations and attendees.

  • Develop growth and engagement strategies (online & offline) for our user and non-user communities.

  • Create and regularly test recruitment messaging to speed up community growth.

  • Create content calendars for the communities to drive engagement.

  • Monitor and moderate community activity on a daily basis.

  • Manage and execute event-related automations relevant for event operations

  • Define key metrics for success for events and communities, evaluate performance and convert into actionable improvements.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-6+ years of experience in B2B events creation and community management (end-to-end management from brainstorming to execution), preferably within the SaaS or Enterprise software markets

  • Developing and leading activations to drive reach and awareness

  • Experience with account based marketing programs and the SaaS sales cycle

  • Understanding of marketing functions in a B2B environment (i.e., field marketing, digital marketing, etc.)

  • Familiar with marketing automation and CRM systems, preferably Marketo and Salesforce


  • Excellent copywriting and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to drive strategic decisions, process changes, and business initiatives.

  • Thoughtful about the plans for content and experiences you create, while also able to hustle, execute, and iterate on those plans

  • Data-driven, with a razor sharp attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, and enthusiasm, team oriented, strong cross-group collaborator

  • Have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments; excited about figuring out solutions to complex problems and executing on them
