Position Summary

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you are a strategic part of the Customer Success Team. You will collaborate with the sales support team by acting as technical experts in customer presentations. In addition, you will determine the technical requirements to meet client goals and act as a liaison between Workato's sales/business development and engineering groups.

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will work hand-in-hand with technical Sales teams as Workato Products subject matter expert.You will help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Workato's Integration and Automation products, explaining technical features, helping customers design architectures, and problem-solving any potential roadblocks.

In this role, you will also work hand-in-hand with customers and product development to shape the future of the platform.

Responsibility

  • Support sales teams and partners in technical pre-sales situations

  • Work with the sales team to understand customer needs and make architectural recommendations for solutions

  • Own the centralised RFI/RFP process by maintaining an archive of resources and drafting initial responses to strategic RFPs that Workato is responding to

  • Own optimising the centralised RFI/RFP process and identify tools to improve it

  • Develop and deliver product demos, Use-cases  and 'workjams'

  • Sell Solutions to the customers 

Requirements

 Technical Experience

  • Experience with integration and/or APIs is a huge plus

  • Exposure to security terminology and integration platforms or technologies is ideal

  • B.S. Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent work experience of 2 years; fresh graduates with relevant internship/work experience are welcome to apply.

  • Independently conduct extensive research, and synthesise ideas, information and options quickly

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present technical insights to a variety of audiences.

  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic start-up environment with a passion for making an impact
