About the Role
The Supply Chain Analyst II will support the packaging development and sourcing teams by analyzing data, optimizing processes, and assisting in the execution of the enterprise packaging strategy. This role will contribute to operational excellence through detailed analysis and reporting, supporting strategic initiatives that drive cost savings, improve quality, enhance efficiency, and positively impact the environment. The Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful project management and implementation.
Responsibilities
Overall
- Utilize industry experience and knowledge of relevant trends to support the packaging organization’s vision and strategy.
- Assist in evolving and implementing the packaging strategy, including market evaluation, supplier fit assessment, risk analysis and mitigation, and innovation opportunities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration within the packaging team and with cross-functional teams and supplier partners.
- Support the establishment and measurement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure performance targets are met.
Material Supply Chain Packaging Development & Innovation
- Provide analytical support and technical insights for innovative packaging solutions that contribute to cost savings, increased efficiency, and/or safety.
- Build and maintain relationships with Operations, Process Engineering, Food Safety, and Suppliers to support collaborative and successful project management.
- Support initiatives for sustainable packaging solutions.
Strategic Sourcing
- Assist in the execution of the Strategic Sourcing process, including market research, contract review, RFQ generation, negotiation, and presentation of recommendations to Senior Leadership.
- Support the Supplier Relationship Management program, including goal setting, quarterly Business Review Meetings with suppliers, and regular performance management.
- Apply financial acumen to help manage annual spend, track spend and cost savings, and scenario plan.
- Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels in the warehouse through effective inventory planning, inventory replenishment, and vendor management to ensure optimal delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Packaging Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, packaging engineering, or sourcing within a food manufacturing or CPG enterprise.
- Experience in a role that demonstrates career progression and increasing responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Tableau. Knowledgeable in SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to engage and challenge team members, partners, and suppliers for opportunities to improve.
- Strong project management skills with experience in supporting the execution of complex and multi-disciplinary projects.

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $100,000
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
