This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Excellence to lead our fulfillment strategy, program implementation, and software product management capabilities to increase fulfillment efficiency, optimize fulfillment times, support network scaling, and improve customer service levels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on and data-driven leader who can lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver high quality solutions on time.
Responsibilities:
- Craft fulfillment strategies including fulfillment topology, service coverages, and fulfillment economics optimization
- Lead and develop the Fulfillment Center of Excellence team
- Build and communicate roadmap, action plans, and progress to stakeholders, while defining, aligning, and tracking fulfillment KPI targets to measure success and drive improvements across teams
- Introduce new fulfillment capabilities to improve service levels and reduce cost
- Manage fulfillment system demand pipelines, priorities, and solution implementation
- Design and oversee the execution of cold chain fulfillment solutions
- Reduce fulfillment labor costs through labor planning, cost structure optimization, and accountability/reward programs
- Optimize packaging to balance costs, perception, and customer satisfaction
- Provide process visibility through metrics reviews, dashboards, and alerts
- Provide regular, precise, and effective status updates on key programs, processes and metrics.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, process engineering, and other teams to ensure successful execution of fulfillment programs
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in fulfillment operations, including advanced knowledge in topology planning (preferably in an ecommerce setting) and quantifying fulfillment economics and fulfillment software product management
- Experience in leading and managing high-performance teams
- Has an entrepreneurial mindset, and has led cross-functional projects from ideation to market launch and maturity
- Excellent communication skills, strong influencing and relationship-building skills across teams
- Passionate about building the best ecommerce grocery fulfillment capability
- Experience in fulfillment center automation preferred
- Prior experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment preferred

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000 - $178,500
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
