VaynerMedia is a full service global agency built for the now. We deliver integrated programs across creative, strategy, production, and media all under one roof that drive tangible business results for some of the biggest brands in the world.
We make campaigns that change the way brands do business. We are focused on attention grabbing work, that empathises with the consumer’s life providing value and uses culture to be as powerful as possible.
Do you enjoy solving big challenges and thinking about how modern brands should behave?
We’re looking for a Strategy Director. An analytical thinker, adept problem solver and insightful culture hacker to play a Senior role in our team.
The ideal candidate:
You are a strategy director or senior strategist looking to make the step to the next level. You will have considerable strategy and brand planning experience and have a background in solving problems through communications. You’ll be experienced in leading an account and expected to lead and work with one or more strategists on each account.
You could come from any type of agency: Creative, Media, CRM, Digital, Branding - but you will be passionate about understanding consumers and solving problems. A strategy director on the team is expected to understand and want to analyse cultural opportunities and consumer behaviour, turning these into briefs and stimulus for creative and media teams. You will be expected to have an understanding of creative and/or comms planning. You’re not expected to be an expert in both, but you will need to build your skillset as you go. You will help lead, not just follow.
You’ll be joining a growing team with an exciting culture and collaborative way of working, both in the team and in the wider agency. As a director, you’ll be expected to bring your own point of view on strategy and merge it with the agency’s process - building something new. We look forward to meeting you.
