We process billions of concurrent auctions running on a monthly basis across more than a million hotels. The Technical Delivery Specialist is a key contributor to this metasearch team.

We are looking for an experienced, mature, dynamic self-starter and team player who is passionate about Operational Efficiency & Excellence and who desires to grow his/her career in advertising operations. This is a role for entrepreneurial, detail-oriented people who are enthusiastic to learn about hotel auction dynamics within the B2B Technical Delivery team.
What You’ll Do:
As a Technical Delivery Specialist, you will support the B2B Account Management team, Online Travel Agencies, and Key Hotel Suppliers in the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of their commerce advertising campaigns. You are a consultant to various internal and external partners for all auction campaign specifications, guidelines and turnaround times on Tripadvisor as well as our smart-bidding products. You are the go-to-person for critical business processes like conversion-sharing, connectivity APIs, and the meta auction backend. You play a crucial role to Tripadvisor’s bottom line by providing best in class service and solutions to the Account Managers and clients and in ensuring our key advertisers’ campaigns are running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Working closely with clients, product management, engineering, and Account Management teams, you will set up new campaigns, as well as support ongoing resolution of technical issues related to key hotel partners’ metasearch, sponsored ads, Business Advantage, and other performance advertising campaigns. Key campaign aspects include URL tracking implementation, data feed configuration and processing, conversion tracking, facilitating partner’s API set up, and API and metasearch health monitoring.

Independently triage and prioritize the severity of bugs and projects, factoring in effort level, client needs, and Tripadvisor benefit. Make recommendations for whether something is a launch blocker and use creative and critical thinking to propose alternative routes and solutions.

Be a consultant to clients for conversion tracking implementation and communicate key issues and launch status to internal and external stakeholders

You will become a ‘super-user’ of our in-house operational tools and third-party software such as Salesforce

Monitor live partners’ metasearch health; investigate pricing and conversions issues, and alert Account Management and partners to resolve issues affecting partner performance.

Analyze and troubleshoot issues and discrepancies escalated by Account Managers and clients.

Identify areas for ongoing process and productivity improvements related to the role and make recommendations to improve efficiencies for Tripadvisor and its partners.
What We Need From You:

Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ year of experience in Client Services/Delivery, Ad Operations, project management, business analysis, or other technical support roles

Strong attention to detail; highly organized with experience in cross-functional collaboration
-
Ability to manage complex technical issues and communicate them to both non-technical and technical audiences and stakeholders
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and executive stakeholders

Great analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills are required and SQL experience is a big plus

Knowledge of URL structures and tracking implementations with web analytics companies.

Basic knowledge of software interaction programs (API) required.

Ability to review processes and make informed recommendations to improve our proprietary tools and exchange of information.

Comfortable working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Previous experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau) would be advantageous.
