Tripadvisor’s Advertising and Partner Solutions (TAPS) business seeks to establish scalable, engaging media solutions that connect our advertisers and partners with Tripadvisor’s leaned-in community of consumers and businesses alike. The Product Strategy team within TAPS drives the prioritization and development of new media solutions across our key product pillars. This role will influence our data roadmap by qualifying business impact, driving internal stakeholder alignment, partnering with technical leads, and supporting operational processes. You will spearhead cross-org collaboration to identify & pursue new solutions that will drive revenue impact, satisfy advertiser objectives, and deliver user benefit in alignment with Tripadvisor’s brand and company goals. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, self-motivated, and results-driven candidate who is comfortable pushing boundaries and driving innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders to identify client needs and data product solutions

  • Develop business cases rooted in performance and revenue analysis to drive strategic decision making

  • Support project evaluation and technical scope in partnership with product and engineering to determine impact, feasibility, and prioritization

  • Oversee resource allocation and product development aligned with the team’s quarterly objectives and key results

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations through consistent communication and transparency

  • Maintain a pulse on marketplace trends and competitor offerings to identify new areas of opportunity, drive innovation, and establish Tripadvisor’s strategic role in today’s advertising landscape

  • Drive cross-team collaboration across a large, matrixed organization including sales, operations, marketing, product, engineering, analytics, etc. 

  • Analyze existing product suite against key performance indicators and revenue impact to influence roadmap decisions

  • Partner with internal teams to support product commercialization and go-to-market approach across pricing, materials, training, and sales rollout

  • Champion audience-first thinking with sales and sales planning by providing consultative support and product guidance

  • Develop deep understanding of key players in the data ecosystem managing vendor relationships and solution evaluation

  • Drive adoption and success of our first party data products, partner with Product Marketing to ensure clear messaging, and validate that global teams fully understand the offering

  • Facilitate internal workflows, processes, and resources to ensure seamless end-to-end project management.

 

Requirements

 

  • 4-5 years of experience in business development, product management/marketing, and/or corporate strategy, preferably at a publisher, platform, or media company with a focus on data

  • Analytical yet creative with a business-oriented mindset that can identify and prioritize new solutions that are innovative, performant, and revenue-driving 

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and support an “always on” flywheel approach to product development

  • Big thinker who challenges the status quo with a strategic lens and keen understanding of technical implications and feasibility

  • Strong communicator with an ability to manage stakeholders, drive cross-team collaboration, and influence key decision makers

  • Intimate understanding of the data landscape within the media and advertising industry

  • Comfortable with advanced Excel skills, presentation development, and Airtable system architecture

  • BA/BS in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or related field
