As a Chief of Staff you would be the right-hand person to our  VP Operations & Central Sales, and their management team. Your main mission would be to optimize time and ensure the efficiency of the management team and their role within our company. You will be part of an amazing high performing team. The position is based in Barcelona and may require some travel.

 

What you will do

  • Facilitate the life of the VP Operations & Central Sales in their interaction with the Executive Leadership team (CEO and direct reports)
  • Coordinate the key meetings and the subsequent follow up :

Whether Management meetings or other key meetings in the company, You ensure that the meetings are well prepared. You are responsible for making sure that decisions are made & documented and that actions are implemented

  • You participate and coordinate the VP Operations & Central Sales meetings with their direct reports:
  • You help the VP Operations & Central Sales and their direct reports to ensure that all meetings are well prepared & decision support materials shared
  • You ensure an easy and timely access for the VP Operations & Central Sales to the key reports, also alerting to risks and opportunities and coordinate deep dives with the relevant stakeholders when necessary.
  • Facilitate the life of the Direct reports of the VP Operations & Central Sales in their interactions
  • You help direct reports to ensure that all meetings are well prepared & decision support materials shared
  • Manage communication within team and ensure that key messages are shared to all relevant stakeholders in the company
  • Facilitate the creation and documentation of key business initiatives when needed
  • Facilitate the life of the VP Operations & Central Sales in their daily organisation & communication

- Overall, you manage the communication of the VP Operations & Central Sales :

  • You manage the inbound communication triage, and directly manage or prepare the outbound communication for the Operations & Central Sales.
  • You will ensure that the VP Operations & Central Sales dedicates their time  to strategic matters and as a result proactively proposes internal or external meetings.
  • You Help the VP Operations & Central Sales and Executive team on some strategic initiatives
  • You are heavily involved in the budget process, forecast activities and performance management.
  • When required by the VP Operations & Central Sales, you will coordinate certain business strategic initiatives
  • You are the sounding board to the VP Operations & Central Sales:

You act as strategic thought partner, person of trust and sounding board. You need to be comfortable telling the VP Operations & Central Sales when you disagree.

 

Who you are:

- Master’s degree in economics + potentially MBA

- 8 -10 years of experience, with tenure in a strategic consulting role, and/or Chief of Staff (COS) role and or business management role

- A business consultant with business acumen, cross functional perspective & strategic thinking

- An analytical professional who’s comfortable with numbers & complex information

- A people person with interpersonal & diplomatic skills, who’s able to collaborate with and gains trust from management team members and who has excellent verbal & written communication skills

- A project manager who’s structured, well organized & detail & deadline oriented, who stays calm & flexible under time pressure & when changes occur & who solves problems

- Fluent English, is a must (and at minimum at least one other  European language ie. Italian, Spanish, French...)
