We are looking for a Sales Planner to Join the Team on a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension based upon Team needs beyond this period.  

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sales Planning Manager, the Sales Planner is responsible for the following critical tasks: 

  • Provide best in class service and solutions for our clients in all aspects of the sales process
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to understand their client’s objectives and needs in order to develop strategic media plans in response to their RFP
  • Build and maintain comprehensive media plans within our order management system (Operative1) across a multitude of products and clients
  • Generate insertion orders and manage final bookings for both Direct and Programmatic Guarenteed plans
  • Responsible for pre-sale of our Audience Extension deals including forecasting and acting in accordance to pricing guidelines
  • With guidance from Account Manager, work in order management system to revise and optimize live campaigns for delivery, performance, and other client objectives
  • Provide cohesive and comprehensive reporting for key accounts in-flight and collaborate with internal teams to develop wrap reporting for campaign performance
  • Responsible for client monthly Billing Reconciliation in addition to working with the TripAdvisor Accounting Department to resolve billing issues and generate timely invoices
  • Assist sales in troubleshooting issues or responding to questions directly with clients

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Maintain the planning turnaround time for requests to 48 – 72 hours
  • Increase in client satisfaction through collaboration with Sales to address client needs and requests (as determined by Sales lead & Regional Planning Lead)
  • Increase in market revenue through new business (existing and net new) in the pre-sale phase and decrease under-delivery of live campaigns through careful monitoring
  • Managing up to Regional Planning Lead on planning needs and obstacles with a solutions-oriented approach

 

Requirements

  • Spanish & English language is required, additional languages preferred
  • 2 - 3 years (minimum) experience in digital media at an agency/client/publisher – understands digital concepts and is up to date on emerging ad formats
  • Excel skills with an analytical ability is preferred
  • Systems knowledge (OMS, DFP, etc.) is not required, but preferred
