The Product Manager for TripAdvisor Experiences Supply based in Sydney, is part of a team that is responsible for understanding, measuring and fulfilling the needs of suppliers to enable them to grow their business and making us their most trusted and easy to work with partner. The Product Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, Product and Engineering across the organization to analyse, measure and develop the tools that will enable suppliers to manage their supply whilst contributing in the pursuit to build the biggest and best experiences supply platform.

You will work with Product and Engineering teams to specify and deliver features and improvements. Summary of essential job functions 

  • Be the voice of the supplier, partners and stakeholders, and champion it through the entire organisation to achieve the desired objectives
  • Work with product, engineering and analytics to design a framework for measurement across all supplier processes and touch points
  • Develop a roadmap and build tools that allow us to support the supplier in growing their business whilst becoming a trusted partner
  • Source, analyse and weigh quantitative and qualitative information to make informed product decisions
  • Consistently measure the effectiveness and robustness of solutions against the desired results to drive successful attainment of organizational objectives and goals
  • Challenge the current solutions to identify areas of improvement that will better support our suppliers through tailored experiences that reduced effort and increase growth
  • Work with the user research and analytics to interpret insights and convert them into an actionable plan
  • Manage technical projects, track progress towards milestones, and keep tabs on all the moving parts of the planning and development cycles
  • Communicate and present the state of your projects across teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems
  • Conduct competitive analysis to gather insights that will drive the delivery of solutions that are best in class and make us indispensable to our suppliers

Minimum requirements

  • Excellent at understanding diverse data sets, and how they combine to give us a total view of our business and customers
  • 3 years of product management experience or comparable role
  • Experience identifying insights from data, specifying and delivering changes that will improve our customer experience
  • Proven ability to create, analyze and communicate performance metrics
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience working with suppliers, partners, marketplace platforms or third-party providers
  • Familiarity with travel industry concepts, practices and procedures would be looked upon favourably
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results drive environment with a diverse set of responsibilities
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to plan and prioritize
  • Ability to collaborate with a global team, across multiple regions and time zones
  • Be available, as required, to meet with regional teams outside normal business hours
  • Flexibility to allow for occasional overseas travel as required
