TripAdvisor’s Rentals business unit is seeking an Affiliate Manager. This individual will be responsible for the fast-growing affiliate channel and taking it to the next level through expansion of the program internationally. The Affiliate Manager will be the key point of contact for all affiliate relationships and will help shape the strategy for how best to scale the channel going forward by identifying partnership opportunities, negotiating commission structures and managing the operations of the channel. 

This is a cross-functional role and the individual must be able to partner across functions including supply acquisition, product management, traffic marketing, and analytics. The individual should be innovative, team-oriented, and an effective communicator, as well as have the desire to participate in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.


Manage existing content and affiliate partnerships to achieve traffic, leads, revenue and margins goals for the channel.

Identify and recruit new affiliates and affiliate networks that would drive qualified high-quality traffic/leads across TripAdvisor’s vacation rental brands globally

Partner with local agencies to drive growth of the channel through business development efforts

Negotiate and manage agreements and commission structures, promotions

Act as point person for all affiliate related questions/communications

Present regular analytics and reporting around business development pipeline, performance on existing affiliates

Management of the billing operations with vendors and internal finance teams

Keep up to date on affiliate Industry trends and developments

Partner with the product and engineering teams to drive product/feature requirements for the affiliate channel (APIs, feeds, content programs, etc)

Work cross-functionality with product management, analytics, traffic marketing, supply acquisition, engineering, and management teams

Required Skills:

Seven years of experience in a marketing role with at least 3 years of affiliate management experience, preferably with international exposure

Experience with Affiliate Window, Commission Junction, Performance Horizon Group, Tradedoubler, LinkShare, or as an affiliate manager or work experience as an account manager at one of these companies is a plus

Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously over a variety of mediums

Ability to understand numbers and trends and develop action plans

A proven negotiator who can build strong partnerships

Ability to take on multiple projects at the same time

Willingness to embrace and understand new concepts and ability to initiate and grow relationships

Diligent monitoring and identifying fraud

Proven, measurable results in developing and growing an internal affiliate program
