We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our business in the role of Head of Buying, Women’s Mainstream, on a 12 month contract. Reporting to the General Manager,  this role will lead the strategic vision and growth of this important category and we are looking for a superstar and highly experienced Head of Buying, who has the ability to constantly innovate and challenge the status quo to drive market leading ideas! 

What you’ll love about this role…

  • Reporting to the GM and working alongside the Planning Manager to set the strategic direction for buying and marketplace for the segment
  • Drive multiple strategies across different segments & customer personas at one time
  • Vision and budget presentations to CCO & company planning
  • Strategically manage your own OTB for a segment based on seasonally approved budgets and nimble trade actions
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of Senior Buyers, Senior Account Managers, Buyers, Account Managers, Juniors, Assistants, Co-ordinators and Admins
  • Run your business with a focus on key KPIs and overall business strategy driving the product aesthetic and brand relevance to the consumer
  • Build solid relationships with key suppliers and sellers and negotiate profitable business outcomes E.g. Terms and conditions, VTT, etc
  • Monthly WSSI review - management and decision making direction
