Corporate Controller

The Role 

We are seeking a highly qualified Accountant to work in our London Accounting team. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day work associated with our foreign management companies within EMEA.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

What you’ll do 

This role is responsible for the review allocation of monthly non-trading expenses, assisting with the month-end close process, preparing and track non-trading expense accruals, and preparing and posting monthly billing entries. This individual will reconcile monthly expenses to fund administer trial balances and compile and distribute monthly expense details reports. He/she will assist with annual audit and tax work papers and ad-hoc report preparations and projects. They will assist with monitoring and maintaining appropriate financial controls, policies and procedures to support existing operations and continued growth of the firm.

 

What you’ll bring

What you need:

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Strong working knowledge using Excel (e.g. pivot tables, sumifs, index match, etc.)
  • Relevant work experience. Mix in public accounting/financial services industry
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of assigned projects and tasks
  • Process and detail oriented with a strong work ethic and team focused attitude
  • Able to adapt to frequent changes in the business operating environment
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
