The Senior Project Manager of our commercial business works closely with a cross-functional team to provide coordination and oversight of scheduled PM activities. This role will implement and manage new and existing projects in a manner consistent with Precision for Medicine’s repository mission and management philosophy by developing and maintaining logistical plans, making recommendations to clients on study designs that increase quality and efficiency.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
Communications and Reporting
Assist clients and collaborators in the design and implantation of new studies
Communicate with clients and collaborators with regard to data management, inventory control, shipping procedures, etc. for all assigned areas
Prepare reports and correspondences to clients, collaborators, and department director
Resolve and assist in resolution of operational issues
Business Development
Evaluate contract/project budgets on a monthly basis and report unexpected variances to department director
Source and make recommendations on new business opportunities
Participate in bidding on new projects, writing proposals, and preparing budgets
Coordinate the development and implementation of new repository projects
Project Management
Manage all tasks in an efficient manner
Engage with all repository operations through interacting, coordinating, and prioritizing activities
Ensure quality control procedures are executed
Enforce GMP/GLP/ISO regulations and standards
Review and approve all documentation associated with project(s)
Create relevant metrics for business and project measurement
Ability to respond timely to emergency events
Miscellaneous
Manage and develop staff in accordance with company culture
Remain current on IATA Shipping Regulations and maintain certification and standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field
3 years’ experience in Project Management in a scientific or technical discipline managing/leading large/complex projects or equivalent work experience
Other Required:
Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Proven track record of coordination and communication with team members across disparate technical and business backgrounds such as R&D, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Executive Management, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent use of judgment and discretion
Strong computer and business writing skills
Extended work hours may be necessary in order to meet business demands
Must possess a valid driver’s license allowing you to drive in the state(s) you drive in
Able to travel both domestically and internationally including overnight stays
Ability to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
Preferred:
Biotechnology, Repository or pharmaceutical industry experience
Experience writing and executing Standard Operating Procedures and validation plans
Candidates familiar with GLP, GMP, CLIA, and ISO regulatory guidelines

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
