The Senior Director, Market Access Analytic Consulting will be critical in the growth and development of analytic consulting services supporting pharmaceutical companies (as part of the PRECISIONadvisors team). The ideal candidate should have a background in consulting and analytics within life sciences – with a preference shown to candidates with market access experience. As the Senior Director, Market Access Analytic Consulting, you must have strong project management skills, the ability to mentor team members and be able to ensure high quality project delivery. In addition to analytic expertise and experience, you should excel at cultivating key client relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance and grow current business.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
Achieve revenue and sales targets through direct client engagement and support project leads in client management, project delivery and sales activities
Mentorship of junior analytic consulting staff including associate consultants, consultants, and engagement managers - participating in initiatives that encourage colleague engagement and
satisfaction, promoting business growth, and ensuring operational and methodological excellence.
Provide leadership and direction as part of consulting team delivering high quality analytic consulting services to biopharmaceutical industry clients and coach and mentor the next generation of analytic consultants
Act as project leader - coordinating prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery for projects with resources and other leaders
Support BD initiatives and maintain long-term partnerships with clients, pro-actively identifying and proposing technical and strategic solutions
Identify and develop talent both inside and outside of the existing team
Collaborate across multiple business units on business strategy and execution
Proactively mentors, coaches, and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our client engagement capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Other Required:
8+ years’ experience of executing analytic consultative projects – preferably in pricing, market access, and/or other healthcare analytic roles
Hands on experience working with, and knowledge of, key industry data sources including medical and pharmacy claims (LADD, IDV) as well as formulary data (MMIT, DRG)
Successful review of project or data outputs, interpret results, and develop/deliver presentations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assigned accounts simultaneously
Strong strategic and technical writing skills
Excellent communication skills and a knack for conveying data-driven insights and strategy to clients in PPT format
Successful history meeting deadlines while working on multiple parallel projects
Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on-the-job experience and training, participation in conferences and symposiums, and other forums for professional knowledge sharing
Previous experience with business development in the life sciences space preferred
Preferred:
Postgraduate degree - MBA, PharmD or PhD
Ability to understand and guide teams of junior analysts using specific programming languages, e.g., data languages such as SQL.
Broad technical knowledge of pricing, market access, specialty distribution, and patient support services in the US plus expertise in related data sets supporting like projects

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
