We are interviewing and onboarding 100% virtually at this time. PagerDuty is focused on inclusion and employee well-being by building a culture that isn’t location specific and gives equal opportunity to everyone—regardless of where you are working. Unless your job requirements make it necessary to be in a company office, you may choose to work in-office, remotely, or hybrid.

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our diverse, customer-centric technology company!

Established in late 2021, Lisbon, Portugal is PagerDuty’s second location in Europe, after London, UK, and with activity further bolstered by a sales team across the continent. Dutonians in Portugal are valued members of our global team, with equal access to competitive pay and benefits, learning and development programs, structured career architecture and opportunities for advancement, company culture events, and the enriching experience of collaborating with colleagues all around the world.

Europe is the fastest growing region of the business with international revenue increasing 41 percent year over year in PagerDuty’s second quarter. The Lisbon location represents an opportunity to accelerate hiring as we scale towards $1 billion annual recurring revenue (ARR). Based on the success of the region, we are excited to have expanded our presence in Europe with our Portugal location, along with now offering our customers a European hosting option for data assets, including customer-generated data.

We are thrilled to be a part of Portugal’s flourishing technology network and provide career-making moments at PagerDuty.

How You Impact our Vision

Are you passionate about applying data science and thoughtful user experience design to transform the ways people triage, resolve, and prevent major business disruptions?

As a Senior Product Manager on the Event Intelligence team, you’ll be busy! In any given day, you may do any of the following:

  • Research, define, and evangelize a roadmap that shapes the strategic vision of the company, taking into account customer needs, business strategy, and technical feasibility
  • Partner with a dedicated group of engineers, data scientists, and designers to design, deliver, and iterate on new products that drive our core business
  • Collaborate with sales, support, customer success, marketing, and other departments to get value into customers' hands and ensure success for both them and the company
  • Play a board game with friends around the company, cheer on both of the company bands, speak at a conference, mentor a peer product manager, volunteer with some colleagues at a local non profit, or present a proposed business case and strategy to the CEO.

About You

  • You are dedicated to working closely with a highly collaborative engineering team while building relationships across the business
  • You have firsthand experience developing software, with successful delivery of multiple features over your professional career (and the lessons learned from the not-so-successful deliveries as well)
  • You can effectively communicate across diverse backgrounds and contexts, and lead through influence using metrics and research
  • You have a real passion for getting things done. If you haven’t done something before, you are naturally curious, driven to learn, and unafraid to ask for help

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role. You have shepherded at least one major product or feature from ideation to launch preferably using iterative, agile methodologies.
  • Experience building positive relationships with engineering and cross-functional development teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup and/or new product development experience
  • Background in SaaS B2B Product Management
  • Comfort with SQL or data analysis tools
  • Experience with the end-to-end product lifecycle, from feature launch to end-of-life
