The Challenge

The Associate Implementation Consultant role is one of the key pieces of the OneTrust architecture. Associate Implementation Consultants are the key driver of working with senior consultants and accomplishing project tasks, in addition to covering all non-technical modules. As an Associate Implementation Consultant, you will have responsibility for customer deliverables by working directly with the Senior and Principal Implementation Consultants and the projects they are supporting.

The Associate Implementation Consultant has a clear understanding of the privacy industry, including the regulatory environment, and uses this knowledge to support critical customer projects. To thrive in this role, the Associate Implementation Consultant will keep up with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs for the purpose of being active and vocal in making decisions about the direction of the platform. 

Your Mission

  • Oversee the functional/technical implementation and platform adoption for all customer proof of concept projects from start to finish
  • Work with Senior Consultants and Principal Consultants on strategic customer accounts
  • Directly interface with clients to gather and define requirements, identify solutions, and implement recommendations
  • Demonstrate thorough product knowledge and ability to understand customer use-cases
  • Provide assurance and oversight to customers implementing OneTrust’s platform regarding SaaS implementations, including underlying hardware and software architectures
  • Prioritize and drive resolution on escalated customer issues
  • Communicate requirements to internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of products and services
  • Effectively work with team members to achieve project goals by project deadlines
  • Provide consulting to analyze the client’s internal processes and structure to design the solution and determine whether configuration or customization is needed
  • Schedule, track, and communicate client implementation milestones and training
  • Prepare and deliver training to users
  • Be an advocate for our customers by representing their issues to Product Management and Software Engineering with a focus on steering the OneTrust roadmap
  • Monitor and analyze the customer’s adoption of our solution features and functionality in order to provide leadership with an understanding of their overall business needs as they relate to our products
  • Leveraging customer relationships as needed for prospect references
  • Provide strategic and tactical support for Sales, Professional Services, and Business Development

You Are

  • Available to start in January-March 2022 or July-October 2022
  • Able to build relationships across stakeholders in marketing, sales, and engineering
  • A strategic thinker, problem solver, and decision-maker
  • Eager and willing to get hands on with SAAS solutions and become skilled in implementations
  • Interested in Data Privacy, Security and Governance
  • Genuinely enthusiastic to work directly with customers
  • Able to balance customer priorities across several accounts
  • Willing to travel, as job requires (Estimated 10-20%)

Your Experience Includes

  • BA/BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field
  • Effective customer-facing communication skills. Genuine enthusiasm for working directly with customer
  • Ability to engage across corporate functions (Professional Services, and Product Management)
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting software and web services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings or host webinars
  • Entrepreneurial skills that will enable you to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment

Extra Awesome

  • Master’s in Business, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field
  • Internship or project experience in software development, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting
  • Functional experience in the field (Privacy or GRC)
  • Language skills (Portuguese, German, French, Spanish, or Italian)
