Scheduling Intern
We are currently seeking Scheduling Interns to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program. The Scheduling Intern will develop skills in building, maintaining, and updating CPM schedules in Primavera P6. This role will afford the opportunity to work closely with the Scheduling Director, Project Manager and Superintendents. Scheduling Interns will gain a wide variety of skills and knowledge in the field learning construction methodologies that can be developed into executable plans. This role will assist in site-walks validating work in the field is being performed as planned, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and may produce reports in varying formats to deliver to the project team.
Key Responsibilities
Through the summer internship program, participants will:
- Develop a basic project schedule that can be used to plan and execute work in the field
- Understand the fundamental elements of a schedule and how its value is recognized by the project
- Work closely the project management team to plan work and translate to a scheduling software
- Conduct frequent analysis of critical and near critical paths and communicate risk to the project team.
- Perform weekly schedule update meetings to ensure the most accurate and updated status and information is included in the project plan
- Perform regular site walks to understand field conditions and dynamics, validate progress and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer navigation skills and ability to learn new programs
- Desire to understand construction methods and sequences to achieve a successful project completion
- Basic understanding of all Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and focused
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
