Corbins, a Nox Group company, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Driver to join our shipping and receiving and on-site warehouse teams! As our Warehouse Driver, you play an integral role in supporting Corbins field workforce by transporting company material and assets to and from project sites on time and safely. When you're not on deliveries, you will support all other warehouse needs as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery and pick-up of items from the warehouse to site-specific locations and vice versa.
- Move, protect, store, and control company material and equipment delivered to our warehouse.
- Assist team members by pulling requested electrical materials or tools and preparing them to be delivered to other locations at job sites.
- Build a positive rapport with all individuals with a “service culture” approach.
- Help move, organize, and clean the warehouse and other company-occupied areas.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities and functions as required by business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain a 24-foot stake bed truck.
- Load, secure, and unload products for delivery.
- Follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Verify delivery information, including addresses and special instructions.
- Communicate effectively with field teams to ensure satisfaction and timely deliveries.
- Handle delivery paperwork and obtain necessary signatures from field representatives.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Physical Expectations:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Capability to safely climb onto the truck bed multiple times daily.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat).
- Maintain physical stamina and endurance to complete daily delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Valid Department of Transportation (DOT) physical card. (Proof must be provided before employment)
- Experience in securing loads on a stake bed truck.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- OSHA 10 (Training course will be provided)
- Forklift experience preferred but not required. (Training will be provided if needed)
Work Environment:
- Primarily working in a delivery vehicle and field locations.
- Frequent lifting, bending, and physical exertion
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
- Experienced with operating and driving vehicles with trailers attached.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Must be able to show proof of a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.
- Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and other safe work platforms and areas.
- Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow, depending on the job location.
Education/Certifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- OSHA10
