About the Role 

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate Relationship Manager to join the iCapital Solutions team. This role will assist with ongoing relationship management for current GP clients, will prospect new clients within the Asset Management arena, and provide general support to the GP client coverage team within iCapital Solutions.

Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Relationship Management:
    • Assist in day-to-day management of select existing GP client relationships. 
    • Responsible for but not limited to responding to ad hoc requests, assisting with platform demos and trainings, tracking meeting requests and follow-up deliverables, etc. 
    • Educate existing clients on new firmwide developments relevant for their business (e.g., platform enhancements, new features and offerings, corporate developments, etc.). 
    • Cultivate a list of prospective clients and assist relationship managers with pitching new business, including the preparation of RFPs.); Over time, develop and manage 3-4 key relationships.
    • Work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams on fund launches, closes, and other strategic initiatives.
    • Develop presentation materials and analysis for client meetings and projects.  
  • iCapital Solutions Team Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the iCapital Solutions team and senior executives across the firm to drive tactical and strategic initiatives regarding sales strategy and business development, CRM technology, and marketing.
    • Manage and lead internal projects and develop framework and process for ongoing GP client coverage team management.
    • Develop presentations and analysis for internal meetings and projects. 

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing capacity (client services, account management, sales/business development) 
  • Knowledge of the Alternative Investments industry 
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred, but not required. Other designations such as CFA, CAIA a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic mindset and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated client service skills with stakeholders and clients
  • Experience in project management preferred
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment 

 

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $86,000 to $96,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
