About the Role
iCapital’s business is growing rapidly, successful candidates will join in our efforts to help iCapital clients in Japan to access alternative investments. iCapital is looking for a talented Vice President – Implementation Specialist to join the APAC Implementation Team. The role is based in Tokyo to support our clients and partners. The role encompasses supporting the technical operational needs of all platform offerings as well as supporting and identifying the development of custom features for new partners including providing support to design unique platform workflows. Responsibilities
As a Vice President – Implementation Specialist, you will be supporting multiple projects and tasks concurrently. This may include:
- Learn and support all interfaces on the iCapital platform; develop in-depth understanding of the platform and proactively identify issues and areas for improvement.
- Work with senior team members to scope, prepare and manage detailed and technical implementation tasks and responsibility lists for timely and successful platform & fund launches for our Japanese clients.
- Work with senior team members to support the launch of new clients & funds:
- Configure bespoke platform settings
- Manage user setup
- Map offering documents
- Test setup prior to release
- Handle internal and external client platform update requests via the team’s ticketing system
- Lead efforts to implement and troubleshoot integration connections between clients, vendors, and iCapital
- Project manage data integrations with clients/vendors.
- Build strong internal relationships within iCapital and work closely with other teams (Product Origination, Platform Implementation, Client Success, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Technology, etc.) to achieve the best client outcomes and successful long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Academic and/or professional qualification: B.Sc in computer or related fields
- 8+ years of work experience in business integration, project technology implementation
- Experience with technical platform integration in the Financial Services industry (analyzing system workflows and business process flows)
- Ability to quickly learn new business operations, processes, and procedures
- Demonstrate initiative, passion and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves, get the job done, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced projects and different client stakeholders with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and high degree of accountability
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Japanese
