Fresh Prints is a New York based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them the training and support to build the business at their schools. 

The Original Art Team creates content to appear on the Fresh Prints design gallery for our clients to use on every single order at Fresh Prints. Examples of the kind of content can include:

  • Vectorizing a client’s design
  • Original apparel designs in a range of multiple styles
  • Custom graphics and illustrations based on individual user requests or creative briefs
  • Fully customizable clipart

Our original content is one of our top selling points and is responsible for showing clients that Fresh Prints is capable of generating trendy designs daily, unique from other custom apparel players in the market, and anticipating client demand quickly and with outstanding quality. 

At Fresh Prints, we provide design mentorship and critiques, as well as opportunities to engage with international clients and work with them to create designs according to their unique visions. A successful Fresh Prints Original Art Team artist loves design and ensuring the best possible customer experiences. They’re excited by a fast-paced environment and love learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create mock-ups and/or art as quickly and as high quality as possible 
  • Make sure the Artwork is exactly what the client or manager is asking for.
  • Studying and learning fashion and design trends in the US among our clients.
  • Conducting design R&D and the ability to understand and generate design briefs based on client requirements
  • Creating original designs and other content based on generated prompts
  • Maintaining professionalism and always going the extra mile for the team.
  • Completing a set number of deliverables per day. We'll get more into what this means in training.
  • Communicating with the Campus Managers, Sales Teams, and external clients as needed to make sure your designs meet their needs.
  • You will work with fellow artists to complete design tasks and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and our logistics team, but otherwise should be able to take and execute on direction independently
  • You will report to one of the art managers on the leadership team
  • You will attend and participate in weekly meetings to discuss goals and individual performance

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English 
  • You're reliable and available - frequent access to phone and email
  • You have a good sense of what's trendy/cool
  • You have a keen eye for details and can adhere to instructions
  • You’re able to process design briefs and execute accordingly

Technical Requirements

  • Expertise in using Adobe Illustrator and/or other related software to create original designs. Typical final output would need to involve vectorization.
  • You have experience creating vector graphics, sometimes from the low-resolution source material
  • You are able to recreate art with the pen tool and or tablets
  • A well-functioning computer & a strong and stable internet and power connection
  • Must be comfortable working on a night shift schedule

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Monthly Salary ranges from $400 - $900 depending on your schedule and responsibilities
  • We cover the cost of your Adobe Illustrator license

Details 

  • This is a remote “work from home” position 
  • Work hours would be from 9PM to 7AM Manila Time (9AM to 7PM New York Time)

Start date is on November 11 or 25
