Drive growth at one of the fastest-growing companies in America
Hi, I’m Faiza. Yes, this job post is sentient. JK, I’m the Hiring Manager! I wanted to share some background about the role before you apply.
4 years ago, I was hired as an assistant. But my emails were funny, so they asked me to be the first official Copywriter on the Marketing team.
Truth be told, I didn’t really know what Copywriting was. I dove right in, though. A) Because I was ₊˚✧‧₊˚♡ complimented ‧₊˚♡₊˚✧ and B) writing came so naturally to me that it felt like a no brainer.
I took a minute to get good at copywriting - ya know - the “copy” part of it. The written salesmanship, the persuasive, compelling, moving, make-me-wanna-buy-it-all part of it. But once it clicked – boy, did it click.
Words are everything.
Think of one of the most impactful moments in your life. Now, consider how much the way you describe the moment shapes your perception of it. The words you choose, the words you live by, make you.
Similarly, words can make or break companies. The language we use to describe what we do, sell what we sell, and define our culture—businesses live and die by that language.
And yes, I’m floating mid-air with a 3rd eye open as I type all this out, but I genuinely believe it.
I’m looking for Copywriters—yes—but more importantly, for people who are as moved by words as I am, if not more. People who believe words can be the be-all and end-all of a business. People who use words to shape outcomes.
If you feel words are this important, please apply! I’m excited to talk to you.
