Role Overview
FlyFlat is looking for a dedicated Sabre Ticketing Agent to support our concierge team with booking and ticketing tasks in the Sabre GDS system. The ideal candidate has at least an intermediate level of written and spoken English. This position is fully remote, but we are only hiring from those who live in India, and are willing to travel for the training period and regular team offsites. The monthly base pay for this role is $400-500 per month, with an incentive for improving profitability on tickets that are already booked.
Responsibilities:
- Book flights and manage ticketing for clients using Sabre GDS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor flights that are already booked for price drops, and successfully execute on rebooking to improve profitability for the company
- Update and confirm itineraries, seat assignments, and frequent flier numbers, and manage any other booking-related requests.
- PNR Internal Data Management
- Respond to inquiries from GDS queues within service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring prompt and clear communication.
- Accurately interpret booking requests and air travel requirements, drawing on a range of available resources.
- Support the team in improving processes and identifying potential enhancements to our booking procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Sabre GDS, specifically in booking and ticketing.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Asana) and data input on Google Sheets.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize during times that can sometimes seem chaotic.
- Working knowledge of Airline industry policies.
- Ability to think outside the box in shopping and troubleshooting scenarios.
- Detail-Oriented

Nice to have experience:
- Knowledge of booking rental cars, hotels, cruises, and similar accommodations in Sabre.
- Experience with other GDS systems.
- Background in travel or hospitality, particularly with international or luxury bookings.
- Interest or experience in travel loyalty programs.
- Previous remote work experience with a self-driven, accountable work style.
Base Salary: $400-500
Incentive Pay: 100+ per month when you personally materially improve FlyFlat profitability through rebooking of tickets
Work Schedule: Full Time: 5 days a week with 9-hour shifts (1 hr break). We have positions available that service all time zones, hours, and days, as this is a 24/7 concierge service. Shifts will be set following the training period being finished, but we expect flexibility from our workforce as the company grows and scales.
Emphasis on results so if you are in the middle of a booking for a client, you need to make sure to hand off the booking successfully to another team member before fully signing off.

Location: Remote - FlyFlat is only hiring from those who live in India, and are willing to travel for the training period and regular team offsites.
Growth Opportunities: Become a Sabre booking manager or Sabre expert, roles with a salary of at least $650 per month base, plus a monthly profit share.
