That’s why we’re looking for a tenacious and proactive Lead Product Manager who can define and drive the strategic approach for content personalisation and help us develop our content distribution platform. You will lead a team of dedicated engineers, data scientists and product managers to build the technical side of our content ecosystem that spans relevance, tooling, delivery and search functionality. 

Your day-to-day measures of success will be user satisfaction and content engagement, while striving towards the goal of skyrocketing user retention. Working alongside our content creators, you will set up strong feedback loops to help them understand what’s working (and what’s not) while also guiding our machine learning and data science teams to figure out how we get the right message to the right person at the right time.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build the vision, strategy and roadmap for content personalisation and delivery platform in Flo, utilising machine learning and establishing content relevance algorithms 
  • Manage several product managers and engineering teams across search, tools and content personalisation, defining priorities and product requirements 
  • Utilise content-related data for providing insights to our teams responsible for developing and evaluating new content opportunities
  • Champion the user experience and work closely with product managers from each audience segment to understand different user needs and goals
  • Analyse user feedback, content engagement, research and market insights and ensure they are an ongoing part of the product development process
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of personalisation, search and delivery 
  • Lead the team in establishing goals that are set and measured as part of the company OKR process
  • Help content and user segment teams understand what content is resonating with different people and inform the overall content vision
  • Understand the latest innovations across the AI and analytics community to help us identify new opportunities 
  • Be a reliable and inspiring manager to an established and growing team.

What we’re looking for: 

  • 7+ years of experience working as a product manager/owner in technical consumer-facing products, including agile/scrum environments
  • Experience working with products with ML components and technology
  • Understanding of algorithms and data science methodologies plus experience of working with data science teams to deliver insight-driven solutions
  • Able to understand the technical architecture of mobile products
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Passionate about good design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in UX for mobile interfaces would be a plus
