About the Role

The Growth team drives Envoy's overall product usage and user growth. This team strives to share the full value of Envoy's products with customers via in-product awareness, and all kinds of experiments and ultimately increase the discovery and self-service education of customers of Envoy’s platform.

The Growth team is also responsible for billing responsibilities—building and improving Envoy's core billing infrastructure which powers the customer experience of managing their Envoy products and subscriptions. In addition, this team works closely with cross-functional teams, such as Finance and more, to provide flexible internal tools with the goal of increasing efficiency.

This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

You will

  • Design and build the core components for billing features
  • Improve the foundational infrastructure that powers our billing and payment systems
  • Build the core backend system components and create self-serve product features
  • Design and improve the foundational infrastructure that powers a variety of growth experiments
  • Drive engineering projects from inception to completion with a sense of urgency
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to plan and execute on product engineering roadmap

You have  

  • BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of working experience in software development.
  • Experience designing and leading the development of medium to large-scale platform components. 
  • Created and supported APIs (REST, JSON/HTTP, GraphQL)
  • Worked closely with Web or Mobile clients
  • Experience with any modern JavaScript library or framework (React, Angular, Ember.js, Vue.js, etc).
  • Familiarity with git and CI tools

Compensation description 

Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $170K-$195K (Annually). Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
