About the Role

As a Channel Account Manager you will contribute to the channel team’s efforts by achieving your targets and driving results. You will prospect into target Strategic Partners as well as respond to inbound Partner requests. You will work to onboard and enable partners to generate opportunities and sell Envoy to existing and prospective customers. For this role, managing both external and internal stakeholders are important to building partner relationships and bringing partner ARR to Envoy. Internally, you will be part of a cross-functional team with sales, customer success, engineering, product and design, marketing and finance. The ideal candidate will have experience working at fast-paced start-ups and is comfortable with frequent change. Additionally, this person should have a passion for top of the funnel activities and is excited to be a member of the Envoy partnerships team.

This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our New York office.

You will

  • Achieve deal registration and revenue goals through partner sourced opportunities.
  • Sign, train, enable and manage new partners.
  • Prospect, qualify, and engage in new partner accounts and opportunities.
  • Work with partners to source new opportunities with large potential customers.
  • Attend events with partners and customers to source large opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams and partner teams to ensure deals progress and close.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, finance, product, marketing, and enablement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with leadership at partner organizations.
  • Improve the strategic process of the Envoy partnerships team.
  • Travel: 25-50% with a focus on partner field engagement activities and events

You have  

  • 2-5 year work experience in channel sales, preferably in a SaaS company.
  • Demonstrable results in channel account management.
  • Familiarity with partnership agreement terms (Affiliate, Reseller and Technology).
  • Carried a revenue number and influenced project/program development.
  • Experience in early stage, fast growing companies.
  • Strong strategic thinking, ability to develop a vision.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and marketing automation software (Ex: Outreach).
  • The desire to work closely with your peers in office 3 days a week

Compensation description 

Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in New York City, our expected cash compensation for this role is $168K-$192K OTE. Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
