About the Role

The Admin Platform (AMP) team owns and builds platform features that create a cohesive admin experience at Envoy. We champion cross-platform enterprise needs. The features we build and manage (e.g. SCIM sync, Custom Roles, SSO) target the largest customers (those with 1000+ employees). We work toward the exciting goals of customer delight (by continually improving the experience for existing customers) and boosting Envoy’s revenue (by building features that will attract large enterprise customers into the Envoy family).

We strive to be a top-notch engineering organization with a great culture and have the same high standards with our code, systems, practices, and people. We value learning and growth. We hire diverse, well-rounded, communicative people.

We are looking for exceptional engineers to join our growing team at Envoy. We love to drive innovation in the workplace. If you’re looking to challenge the status quo and build the future of the hybrid workplace, come join us.

This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our Seattle office.

You will

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade services and features (Frontend - 50%, Backend - 50%)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features
  • Ensure the quality, security, availability, and performance of services
  • Respond to incidents, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and fix bugs
  • Drive engineering projects from inception to completion with a sense of urgency
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Help guide decision making on technical direction for the team
  • Deliver excellent software through comprehensive peer-reviews, CI, and automated testing
  • Have the opportunity to work with an amazing team of existing engineers, product managers, and designers, while making tremendous impact!

  • An advocate for the end-user. You think about how our customers will interact with the service and champion positive changes.
  • A systems thinker. You think about how your designs will affect other aspects of the service and how it will evolve in the future.
  • A curious lifelong learner. Someone who enjoys technology and learning new things, like staying up to date on new tools and techniques. You are inspired by what's possible and eager to incorporate the best technologies into your work.
  • Mindful of performance. You think people deserve access to their data in milliseconds.
  • Security-minded. We exist because of our customers. When security is breached, trust is lost.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
