About the role

Are you passionate about leading strategic initiatives and architecting scalable systems that drive marketing success? As a Senior Marketing Operations Manager at Envoy, you’ll own the entire marketing operations function, setting the strategic direction for our technology, data infrastructure, and process improvements. This role goes beyond maintaining systems; you’ll innovate and implement sustainable, scalable solutions that align with broader company goals. You’ll work closely with revenue operations, sales, and senior leadership, ensuring each marketing touchpoint is impactful and data-driven to guide high-level decisions.

With a deep commitment to operational excellence, you will oversee the budget, optimize processes, and drive alignment across the marketing organization. This is a hybrid position requiring three days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ, where you’ll work with a cross-functional, mission-driven team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

You will

  • Lead Marketing Operations Strategy: Define and execute the vision for marketing operations, owning the marketing technology stack (i.e., Marketo, Bizible) to drive scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Optimize the Lead Lifecycle: Architect and refine strategies for lead scoring, routing, attribution, and management, ensuring seamless lead-to-opportunity workflows. Enhance pipeline efficiency, improve lead quality, and maximize conversion rates.
  • Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Build advanced analytics and reporting frameworks, including executive-level dashboards, to measure marketing ROI, campaign performance, and pipeline health. Use data to guide strategic decisions, forecast outcomes, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Champion Process and Operational Excellence: Design scalable, cross-functional processes that integrate marketing with sales operations. Lead initiatives to improve data governance, ensure compliance with evolving privacy regulations and maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate Across Teams and Mentor Talent: Partner with senior leaders in sales, finance, and sales operations to align marketing efforts with goals. Mentor and empower junior team members, fostering a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
  • Oversee Campaign Execution: Guide the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns by optimizing email automation workflows, audience segmentation, personalization strategies, and A/B testing frameworks. Drive campaign performance and ensure alignment with overarching business objectives.

  • First 30 days: Deep dive into the current tech stack, team structure, and processes.
  • First 90 days: Develop and present a comprehensive marketing operations strategy.

You are

  • Strategic & Analytical: You have strong quantitative skills, think in terms of ROI and impact, and leverage data to drive strategic decisions. Your insights guide top-level choices.
  • Experienced: You bring 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record in marketing operations and a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Technically Advanced: You’re proficient in Marketo, Salesforce, and Bizible, with additional expertise in tools like Demandbase, LeanData, Google Analytics, and Jira. You bring the ability to quickly evaluate and implement new technologies.
  • Collaborative Leader: You excel in managing cross-functional projects and working with senior stakeholders, and are enthusiastic about mentoring a team.
  • Detail-Oriented & Adaptable: You manage multiple projects with precision, embrace change, and continuously seek innovative solutions.
  • Growth-Oriented: You’re passionate about driving scalable operations that create impactful results and influence company-wide strategies.

Compensation description 

Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $160,650- $184,000 (Annually). Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
