Dynamis is seeking a customer-focused Business Development (BD) Lead to support business development initiatives in the federal government contracting space. The BD Lead is responsible for BD activity and portfolio development specifically in Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).
This position is a hybrid work model, reporting to our corporate HQ in Falls Church, VA.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and network to develop new business in CISA and/or ICE.
Develop partnerships with key government contractors and gain access to additional new business.
Lead full-cycle business development initiatives to help win government work.
Identify, review, and pursue government RFPs.
Assist in writing government proposals.
Formulate and execute business winning strategies, collect competitive intelligence, and develop and qualify pipeline.
Participate in business development meetings to assist in bid decisions, gate reviews, and the development of cost strategies.
Drive collaboration across the organization to bring best-in-class solutions to the customer and maximize win probability.
Assist in keeping CRM up to date with the most accurate capture information.
Establish and develop important customer relationships with senior-level officials and program stakeholders.
Occasional travel is required.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years of Federal Government business capture experience
5+ years of experience winning contracts in CISA and/or ICE
Familiarity with contract vehicles and government procurement process
Experience writing government proposals
Experience with CRM software required, Salesforce preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to consistently drive business development and connect with customers
