Dynamis is seeking a Infrastructure Architect to support a contract with the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Responsibilities:
The Infrastructure Architect will have overall responsibility to plan, design, assemble, and oversee the systems as part of the SEVIS program. The Infrastructure Architect will assess Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) existing cloud resources, determine any changes that may be needed to improve system performance, and make recommendations. The Infrastructure Architect shall provide to engineers and developers on the team based on best practices to ensure the infrastructure continues to support fluctuating demands. The Infrastructure Architect shall work with ICE OCIO IT operations, and other teams, they develop strategies and action plans for implementing upgrades and integrations to SEVIS applications.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship to obtain ICE Suitability
Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
Experience with DevOpsSec pipeline tools including configuration management, requirements (e.g. JIRA), automated testing, automated deployments (CI/CD pipelines), blue green deployments, and branching strategy and implementation.
Technical proficiency designing and implementing Cloud-based AWS solutions.
Experience applying The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) in Agile solution designs to minimize technical debt and improve overall velocity.
