Dynamis is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Cybersecurity Division (CSD) with development and implementation of business and system requirements and processes to promote standardized management processes and procedures and the integration of activities across CSD. The Business Analyst will support administration and communication functions, strategic planning and analysis, program and project management, program analysis and controls, and data integration. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess CSD’s performance and help improve management systems and processes
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and analyzing operational requirements and technical business processes to translate classified business requirements into proposed solutions, recommend areas for process improvement or operational efficiencies, and evaluate effectiveness of active operational processes and process improvement initiatives
  • Document process pain points and identify root cause of data inefficiencies or delays relating to the utilization of classified services
  • Conduct "as-is" analyses to document process pain points and identify root cause of data inefficiencies or delays
  • Propose future process solutions to integrate data points and strategically align workflows to mission priorities
  • Support business modeling, business process design and facilitation, analysis, and evaluation techniques for implementing organizational processes for a highly technical organization and program
  • Collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements
  • Provide recommendations on how review current and implement new business processes in order to help optimize the data repository and work with SMEs and the development and implementation team
  • Support the prioritization of initiatives based on business needs and requirements and provide recommendations on a way forward based on cost benefit analysis and return on investment
  • Draft and recommend a communication strategy to communicate with cross-functional team members and management and attend IPT meetings when necessary
  • Identify and recommend efficiencies in tracking and consolidating data
  • Recommend areas that can assist with consolidating data and improve data collection methods
  • Assist with reviewing data sets and dashboards for consistency with other processes
  • Assist with developing data mapping strategies to identify and correlate existing data fields and translate data requirements to developer and administrator
  • Support visualizing data through the graphical representation of information 
  • Provide data visualization tools that offer a comprehensive range of features and functionalities suitable for analyzing and presenting various types of data and for translating data into visual elements like charts, graphs, and maps
  • Ensure that data visualization tools  provide an accessible way to see and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in data and are scalable and adaptable to future technological advancements, with the ability to accommodate changing business requirements and data volumes
  • Support data analyses to look for trends, groupings, or other relationships between different types of data
  • Assist with developing and implementing initiatives that will assist with streamlining internal organization and program processes
  • Provide business process reengineering and/or applying lessons learned by utilizing previous reports/studies
  • Reduce redundant/inefficient internal processes and eliminate processes that reduce cross-functional awareness
  • Centralize data sources, increase automation, reduce inefficiencies in existing technologies, improve document metadata, and institute a data governance process
  • Support developing, testing, improving, and maintaining new and existing databases that will help users retrieve data
  • Support integration of budget, financial, acquisition, and procurement changes across all of the program’s data sets and dashboards
  • Assist with daily reviews and maintenance of procurement and planning documents
  • Support development of dashboards and other data visualization techniques to integrate program datasets

Requirements:

  • MA/MS
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CISA suitability clearance
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and SharePoint
  • Experience with Tableau 
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills
