Responsibilities
- Ability to work in an Enhanced Distance Support environment providing Tactical Networks Remote Assistance (TNRA) to the US Naval fleet.
- Familiarity with the different variants of CANES software versions 1-4 on both SIPR and NIPR enclaves.
- Answers TACNET Trouble tickets remotely and performs high level server trouble shooting while maintaining Chat communications with ship’s force.
- Provides a Daily Status Report to TACNET supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED. Individual shall be working towards the relevant vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, etc.
- Specific Education: Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) qualified in 9 months
- Experience: One (1) year experience providing troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems in a variety of environments. Support includes assistance and resolution provided for personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client-servers as well Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and web pages.
- Specific Experience: One (1) year technical experience in support of TACNET, or other Navy C4I systems.
