Responsibilities
- Receive, process, check merchandise, and verify the correctness of the shipments against the purchase order.
- Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Record shipment data, including weight and dimensions.
- Receive and unpack materials/supplies.
- Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
- Set up laptops, workstations, and tablets for imaging. Repackage computers into original boxes.
- Break down excess packaging material and sorts for disposal (recycling or trash).
- Prepare shipments for return to vendors or delivery to recipient.
- Performs inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipping of electronic equipment and related material.
- Operates motor vehicles and material handling equipment.
- Responsible for utilization of computer-based inventory and bar-coding system for entry, identification, and tracking of material.
- Assists in the material handling of assets during the integration phase of the RIIKS process.
- Assists in the receiving of assets into the CMPro database for inventory purposes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
