Responsibilities:
- Write functional code in .NET framework using C# and have a sharp eye for spotting defects.
- Upgrading, configuring, and debugging existing systems
- Activities will include (but are not limited to): making software changes, testing, addressing EOL issues, preparing system documentation, ensuring compliance with Gov’t security controls, developing secure code and error handling, and recognizing vulnerability risks.
- Migrating .Net framework applications to the .NET core which is cross platform and carries latest security updates
- Implementing containerization solutions with Docker.
- Proficiency in working within Linux environments.
- Encompasses all activities as it relates to maintaining application software within the sustainment portfolio.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (MSPP) tools.
- Use broad knowledge of Software Development and apply SDLC skills to be able to conduct high-level peer reviews of critical applications on both .Net/C#.
- Maintain new and existing software applications in a sustainment environment.
- Collaborate with the team members on requirements analysis, design, configuration, change and risk management, documentation, planning, accessibility remediation and compliance, and security and quality assurance.
- Prepare documentation and provide end-user training and support as necessary.
- Establish productive working relationships and maintain effective communications with teammates and end-users.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and appropriate technical certifications
- 5-7 years’ hands-on software development experience across a variety of programming languages, databases, and platforms.
- Experience in C# and .Net along with SharePoint, and other software applications.
- Fluent in the use of front-end UI frameworks to include Bootstrap and in the use of .Net Framework and .Net Core.
- Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, organizational skills, and being able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Possess strong analytical skills, be proactive, and acquire new technical skills as needed to perform job duties
- Experience using .Net languages such as C#. Net developers to update applications, configure existing systems and provide user support
- Must meet all requirements for obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust Clearance.
