Our new Senior Integrated Marketing Manager will help guide the consumer strategy, planning and execution of seasonal/cultural moments, product launches, and social amplification for our clients Experience Centre in London.  This marketing manager will create an integrated marketing approach to drive awareness, positive perceptions, build relationship and satisfaction through strong partnerships with MEC team, Digital Store team, local subsidiary, HQ team members and marketing agency partners. Additionally, marketing managers will be data driven in how they support/build their integrated marketing plans, that map back to our core focus areas of, Sell, Train and Support.

The ideal candidate is energetic, with superior project management skills and confidence in managing and partnering with multiple stakeholders. Someone who has previous marketing and media experience within the UK region.

Would you like to... 

  • Lead the planning, management and execution of an integrated marketing calendar for London, that includes Corp initiated product and seasonal priorities, coupled with locally relevant opportunities and partnerships, targeting key audiences; consumers, gamers, students.
  • Implement and execute marketing plans including, but not limited to, virtual/in-store events, experiences, social media and paid media. The marketing plans should focus on building awareness, driving traffic and conversion.
  • Partner across marketing team to ensure key experiences/activations are brought to life across channels to maximize customer awareness and engagement, growing the destination profile of an MEC.
  • Amplify omni-channel marketing execution for priority campaigns, humanising programmes and outbound efforts for the MEC.
  • Initiate measurement methodologies and lead optimization efforts of all program/ campaigns to demonstrate ROI. Communicate results and continue to evolve and mature our segment-focus in MECs.
  • Plan and execute the local social strategy through in-market social agency, using a mixture of local and global content and be a key channel to drive awareness and engagement of key activities
  • Lead local agency relationships to ensure quality executions and agility to respond to changing business needs
  • Work with HQ Marketing Teams to leverage key campaigns and best practices, while delivering thought leadership to guide international best practice and evolving consumer standards.
  • Development of work backs, process and procedures to enable seamless and coordinated execution of marketing campaigns (Omni-channel for key campaigns)
  • Forward thinking to multi-task and manage current executions, while planning 3-6 months out for future campaigns and experiences
  • Ensure brand communications align with corporate brand strategy, brand voice and guidelines

We would like you to have... 

  • Minimum 5 years multi discipline Marketing experience (advertising, events, PR, social) across UK in consumer or technology preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Forward-thinking digitally savvy individual who has a passion for integrated marketing communications and particularly execution
  • Experience marketing to commercial accounts using modern marketing tools
  • Project management experience and a strong ability to set priorities, establish process or drive improvements on existing methods
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within fast paced, diverse cross functional teams with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated decision making and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and local market benchmarks and research methods
  • Commercial acumen partnered with a creative mind
  • Demonstrated ability to impact and influence across virtual teams with no direct reporting lines
  • Experience managing agency relationships. Ability to manage and optimize agency performance and resourcing to meet the needs of Microsoft Store goals
  • Candidate will need to be working from home and when safe to return, and feel comfortable, visit the MEC in London 1 day a week and the occasional day in the London Paddington office.
  • Candidate should be comfortable with flexible work hours to accommodate some late calls with the US and the occasional early call with Australia. In addition to this, the occasional overnight install at the experience centre that requires marketing to oversee.
